Project: Full Commercial Toilet Refurbishment

After our first initial site meeting with the client we put together a full commercial toilet refurbishment design, schedule of works and programme, which was then submitted to the client for approval, after the client had reviewed all he was then happy to place the order with ourselves. We then booked in the project and got to work.

We went onto disconnecting all services and making safe ready for strip out.

The existing suspended ceiling was taken, all existing was hand basing were removed, along with the cubicles, toilets, vinyl flooring, the existing plaster boarded wall, and ceramic urinal.

The external wall was dabbed and fitted with insulated plasterboard, all walls were patched and a pre gripped paint was applied ready to accept the new hygienic wall cladding – white rock.

Our approved white rock hygienic cladding fitter then came in and fitted all walls with the new white rock which was thermoformed internal and external and all joints were welded for added hygiene purposes.

Once all white rock hygienic cladding was fitted, we then we then applied a self-levelling compound to the floor and fitted the none slip polysafe sheet flooring including all cap – cove skirting boards for ease of mopping and cleaning.

The next job was to fit the new suspended ceiling, the four person wash trough including all automatic taps, the new ceramic urinals, with privacy divider and cistermiser, a new radiator, three new toilets, and new top of the range solid laminate cubicles.

Andy, the Quality Control Manager told us,
