Kitchen Refurbishment with Hygienic Cladding and LED Ceiling Panels for Calthorpe Academy
After receiving an initial enquiry from Calthorpe Academy we met with the catering manager to discuss the academies requirements and to complete a full site survey.
Once we had agreed the refurbishment works that were required we drafted up a full schedule of works describing what the work would entail and the budget needed to complete the refurbishment of there kitchen.
One we had agreed the quotation and received the purchase order we then booked the kitchen refurbishment project into the diary and began to produce the health and safety paperwork and a full programme of works detailing dates and deadlines, as the refurbishment needed completing within the six week’s school shut down and that it was the main serving kitchen to the building it was important to get every completed ready for the pupils once they returned from summer shut down.
Our first job was to disconnect all electrical and water services and make safe ready for the strip out to begin. Having done this, we could then complete all first fix electrical works so as to receive the new led pure daylight ceiling panels and sockets switches. The next job was to fit hygienic wall cladding white rock using a jointed system and thermoformed internal – external corners this gave the hygienic finish that the catering manager required which also complied with environmental health standards. After all white rock cladding was fitted we supplied a new washable fire rated ceiling which also complied with fire regulations. After all works where completed we reinstated all existing stainless steel commercial appliances and completed a full builders in-depth clean.
